For this week’s #MemberMonday I had the pleasure of sitting down with Elena Hutslar, Marketing Associate for #IntentionAdvertising. Elena joined IA in 2016 after the company had been in existence for eight years. The owner and founder of the company, Mara Villa, is a friend and colleague of Elena’s. The mission of the company is to help businesses and individuals create branding and represent themselves in a way that increases business. IA is a woman-owned corporation with over 20 years experience in the logo-branding, promotional products industry. They specialize in simplifying your work life.

Intention Advertising has anything you can imagine putting your logo on with messaging to help promote your business. Elena loves to help promote businesses with her company products and services and this, in turn, allows her to use her creative skills and talents. In a former life, Elena owned another company with a partner that was called Quick Change Decorating. She would do room makeovers on a budget and she loved seeing the transformation of the rooms and the favorable responses from her clients.

Elena grew up in our very own #PleasantHill and went to #CollegeParkHighSchool. Since Elena has been in the area all her life she is especially connected to her community and loves to work within it to promote it. She is the eldest of three children; her twin brothers live in the #PismoBeach area and one in the nearby foothills. She loves to spend time with them when they can align their schedules. She has had her sights set on seeing #Norway for many years and this dream is coming true in August. She is very excited to see all that Norway has to offer. When asked what her favorite food is Elena could not pick just one. She said she truly loves all foods and doesn’t usually gravitate to just one type. In her spare time she has been doing a lot of research and reading about Norway as she has been the one putting together the itinerary.

Power partners for Elena would be someone in human resources, marketing or event planning. Elena is currently one of our Chamber Ambassadors and is always there to lend a helping hand with all of our events. The Chamber truly appreciates her dedication to the community. Thanks, Elena!
