    Job Description
    Contra Costa Interfaith Housing (CCIH) seeks an energetic Life Skills Coordinator who is flexible and responsive to support the needs of our clients while possessing the skill set to collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and community partners. We are looking for compassionate service-driven individuals who fundamentally believe in the potential of others. The Life Skills Coordinator provides life skills training and support to individual clients housed in CCIH’s Scattered Site Supportive Housing Program (SSSHP). Working collaboratively with the Scattered Site Supportive Housing Team, the Life Skills Coordinator provides life skills and financial assessments, supports the implementation of individual service plans, supports behavioral changes which reduce mental health symptoms and improve daily functioning, and supports linkage to community resources and services required by consumers to maintain housing stability. Based on best practices in employment services for adults experiencing homelessness the Life Skills Coordinator conducts assessments, creates engagement plans and delivers employment readiness/wellness and life skills services. The Life Skills Coordinator also provides backup for Case Managers in the field and crisis management support as needed.
