State of the City

The State of the City - also known as the The Mayor’s Breakfast, is a signature event of the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce, held annually in late January or February. The event brings together 120–150 local business leaders, elected officials, and community stakeholders for timely updates on the City’s priorities, progress, and future direction. Now in its second decade, the Mayor’s Breakfast has become a trusted forum for civic communication, collaboration, and connection.

Hosted and emceed by the Chamber, the program features presentations from key city partners, including the CEO of Visit Pleasant Hill District update, the Chair of the Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District Board delivering the State of the Parks, and the Mayor of Pleasant Hill presenting the State of the City.

Designed to inform, engage, and connect, this event highlights inter-agency collaboration, fosters professional networking, and reinforces the Chamber’s role as a convener of regional dialogue. The event is supported through sponsorships, ticket and table sales, and membership renewals, helping sustain the Chamber’s mission and programs throughout the year.

This year the event will be an evening cocktail hour and heavy apps followed by the presentation.
