About the Pleasant Hill Stampede

The Pleasant Hill Stampede is the official opening celebration of the inaugural Pleasant Hill Harvest Festival.

Children from throughout Pleasant Hill are invited to dress in western attire, gather with classmates and youth organizations, and take part in a short community parade that celebrates childhood, community, and giving back.

Rather than paying an entry fee, every participant brings non-perishable food for the Pleasant Hill Food Pantry.

Together, hundreds of children will help demonstrate our community motto:

What We Gather Together, We Also Share Together.

Every participating organization will receive an official Certificate of Participation during the event, and each participating child will receive an individual certificate following the festival recognizing their contribution to the community.

This event celebrates Pleasant Hill's agricultural heritage while introducing our youngest residents to the importance of community service in a fun, memorable, and uniquely Pleasant Hill tradition.

Registration Deadline

Please register your organization by Friday, September 18, 2026 to allow time for event planning and certificate preparation.

Individual families not affiliated with an organization are welcome to participate and may register separately.
